Today I bought my daughter her first set of CDs at #EasyStreetRecords in #Seattle. On the way home she wanted to open them and it was hilarious teaching her how to break through the plastic with a car key.
We then remembered that my 2011 KIA Sorento actually has a CD player!
It’s the first time I’ve ever used it and holy hell it was glorious! Both of us were AMAZED at how much better the music sounded then when streaming via Apple CarPlay. Massive difference.

Nick SudaI was impressed by this "3 Feet High and Rising"-inspired #DeLaSoul mural decoration of the bathroom at #EasyStreetRecords in West Seattle and couldn't resist capturing a #GaussianSplat of it with #Scaniverse. The app doesn't love showing the interior of an enclosed structure, but the walk-thru render did a decent job.
Error Cratertoday while #driving in my #car i listened to #Streetcore by #JoeStrummer on my #CDplayer. nobody tracked the fact that i listened to it; nobody knew, unless they heard it blasting out my windows. it wasn't on a #shared #playlist and it certainly was not monitored in any way, or quantified by an #algorithm. i just listened to some fucking music and it was nobody's business but my own, until just now when i told you all about it. god it felt good. p.s. it was a #used #CD i purchased several years ago at #EasyStreetRecords in #WestSeattle
