Forgive me for sounding like a broken record, but we are not a Christian nation. We are a nation where you are free to be a Christian.
Your religion guides you, not all of us. It’s as simple as that.
Rudy Giuliani is proof that you can destroy your reputation, sacrifice your fortune, debase yourself in every way imaginable, and still die having accomplished nothing but to be remembered as a pathetic laughingstock.
If anybody out there needs the reminder.

These times are redefining what impeachable offenses actually are and what it would take to pay their consequences.
Performative white grievance knows no bounds in this gerrymandered country of ours. Conservatives willfully destroy historic norms keeping America together, and then blame the consequences on anyone else they can, knowing their base is more than stupid enough to buy it - hook, line, and sinker.
The potential damage this regime could inflict was scary before he was re-elected. Now? It's a living nightmare.

Louisiana’s congressional primaries are not going forward as scheduled in May as a result of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling. Republican Gov. Jeff Landry on Thursday issued an executive order suspending the congressional primary to give time for state lawmakers to draw new House districts. That came after the high court on Wednesday struck down a majority Black congressional district in Louisiana. Early voting had been scheduled to begin Saturday in advance of the May 16 primaries. Primaries for other state offices will go forward as scheduled. President Donald Trump is urging other states to also consider revising their districts in response to the court ruling.

Release the kraken!
“Journalists who are defiant [using AI for stories] will fall behind. Bottom line: We need more stories and we need more inventory.”
- McClatchy VP Eric Nelson
Um, no. Journalism needs more "inventory" like it needs more politically-bent billionaire owners. You can start resurrecting your now-extinct credibility with actual journalistic principles like investigative, ground-based reporting and verified facts.
