Bah... my last good #PS3 #DualShock3 controller failed today... it kept crashing/freezing, and after hitting the reset button on the back it no longer turns on, nor does it start charging when connected with a USB cable. :(
And while opening up the other controller I still had which I'd stopped using because it kept bugging out by moving the cursor in random connections, to see if I could fix that excessive drift somehow, I accidentally ripped the wires going from the PCB to the vibration motors, which completely killed both sticks...
On the upside, I can now at least use that controller with the d-pad to control the menu and access the PS button, without the menu going haywire due to the drift...
But for gaming we are now stuck with two old PS2 controllers connected via an old twin-USB converter I used to use on my PC...
