I got a #Mayflash Magic-S Pro 2. It's an adapter that lets you use any wireless or wired controller on any console by emulating the native controller.

I did it to make my #Xinput controllers look like #PS4 controllers on #Steam.

This is a disgusting setup and I love it lol.

So, what I found out:

– gyro doesn’t work at all in PS3/DirectInput mode;
– adapter does not appear as DualShock 3 in Linux;
– while the actual Switch Pro Controller and the Flydigi gamepad appear the same to Linux, the Flydigi connects to the adapter but doesn’t work with it.

(BTW, the actual Switch Pro Controller works with the adapter on the actual PS3, minus the gyro, as I mentioned).

The image lists all modes IN ORDER, which is important to me as a colorblind person.

#Mayflash #MagicNS

In theory, I should be able to sync #Flydigi gamepad, which masquerades as a #SwitchProController, to the #Mayflash Magic-NS adapter, which will output it as a #DualShock3, which I can then use in #RPCS3. In practice, I have no idea why this doesn’t work. 😿

It doesn’t help that the Mayflash adapter outputs all information via a multicolored LED through non-clear, non-white (grayish) plastic. As a color-blind person, I love that! Is it green or yellow? White or cyan? Blue or purple? Who knows!
