I spent a lot of time trying to recover some archive CD. The problem: OS X recognises de format, but cannot handle the images, I have a Basilisk2 with system 7 which does not recognise the CD. The CD contains a tool to handle the images, which OS X cannot run. #retrocomputing #classicmac #Diskimage

Dank einer freundlichen Spende konnte ich heute nun endlich die offizielle, deutschsprachige Demo-Diskette von Windows 95 im Internet Archive hochladen und teilen. Diese Demo lag damals einem 10er Pack Verbatim Leer-Disketten bei und sollte für das neue 32-Bit Windows werben. Eine ziemliche Rarität im Jahre 2026!

Dumping a few fresh floppy disks in DMF format using my trusty, old KryoFlux. 80 cylinders of 21 sectors each gives them a capacity of 1.68MB. This format was mostly used for software distribution by Microsoft.
