I dreamt that my laptop boots only in recovery mode in win95 and my backups are not up-to-date.

Does anyone know if you can run win95 (win32s) programs under #ecomStation 2.1?
TIA!

A dizzying amount of scripting while utilizing LaunchBox, DOSBox, 86Box, and more. That’s a lot of boxes.

When Win95 was first released, I was doing PC sales, repairs, and support with a small independent PC shop. One of our business customers was an insurance broker, with roughly a dozen PCs on an ethernet network.
They had us upgrade their 3.11 machines to Win95. Boss was a bit of a technophile. But like businesses everywhere, whoever spec'd the employee machines skimped on everything. They were 386s (DX, at least, not SX) with 4MB of RAM.
To say Win95 crawled on those machines is an understatement. Literal minutes - like 5 - to boot up to usability. Alt-tabbing to switch applications gave a 5-10s pause before the task switcher appeared, never mind the actual switched-to application. It could easily take a minute to switch between apps.
And the boss was thrilled. ?!?!? I know the employees sure weren't.
