So, I’ve just begun my #TerryPratchett journey. I’m reading all the books in order. I started about this time last year. I’ve just finished Eric. I wish I had discovered TP when I was a kid, but better late than never. Thank you to the #WeirdFolks for introducing me to the #Discworld.
I have also now created a character called “BillyBobJoe” on the #DiscworldMud and that’s been fun figuring out how that works. Many thanks to those who have helped me there as well.
Just finished reading the 29th #Discworld novel Nightwatch and felt like I wanted play some #DiscworldMUD this morning.
The #Mega65 is such a great retro experience for stuff like this. Works great with #C64 Cartridges and software.

I've been playing some 'Discworld MUD' for the first time in probably nearly 20 years. So far I've been walking around not really knowing what to do, but it's been cool enough just sight-seeing in Ankh-Morpork and remembering the place. Really great that this is still going and seemingly still with an active community and development. Have spoken to a few people on there with characters still going since the early/mid 2000s.
The #DiscworldMUD is over 30 years old, and still has an amazingly immersive game world. If you're a fan of #Discworld, or even just enjoy #reading #books, it's worth checking out. (See note in replies if you don't know what a #MUD is.)
I'm just getting back into it after some years away, and would love to know if anyone else plays (or wants to start) and is interested in interacting or grouping up!
Edit: I should probably put a link.

#DiscworldMUD update, pancake just got her D'reg warpony and I'm trying to learn a whole new set of commands trying to take care of a horse in the game. Like I needed more non primaries to worry about :)
