I like making things and witnessing other people make things. Myself I do #EmbeddedDev and #Programming alongside a fair amount of writing and TTRPG design. Dipping my toes into pixel art and eurorack modular synthesis.

I am actively trying to curate a feed of people who make things, build worlds, and spread peace.

Corona onus grave est; noli eam gerere.

I return to the Patch mask to get to enjoy my sour fucking grapes but I wish Sam Altman a very much continuing string of the current kind of days he's apparently been having.
I will say this: I am going to go on either a ksp or scifi writing bender the likes of which I haven't had the time for in years
Well, I expected finally leaving that particular salaried dumpster-fire behind to feal better than this but I mostly feel like I'm jumping out the side-gate with the last intact chute.

#ScribesAndMakers 3.26 — Do you dance or move along to music when you listen?

"Dance Party" is a usual morning indicator that I've at least got the energy to deal with the day, so yes.

Though I'm a bit "star wars kid" about it.

Well, even with my basically no instrumentation I can tell that I did something correctly when I told those user agents to fuck off, because top says I'm still only using about 50% CPU even though the migration of all my wikis involved turning on a bunch that were off.

Also I'm done migrating now! Woohoo!

(There are almost certainly damaged things in these wikis now that I am going to have to tinker with because of what I did with extensions. To solve that problem I'm probably going to do some shennanigans, but that's a later problem. Nothing that affects the reader experience should be broken)

You ever walk away from a negotiation with that "That was too easy, I absolutely should have asked for more?" feeling?

Ah, my migration process is causing issues with Extensions.

Fine, I get to learn how to reinstall extensions.

There's the Wisteria wiki migrated. That was the scary one.

The rest are going to be a simple matter of file juggling.

Boy that hardly made a difference to the apparent traffic.

If I'd realized I was getting hammered by people masking their user-agent strings, I'd hardly have bothered.

Turns out recreating my absurd collection of SSL certs is slow.

Probably shouldn't have blown that volume away for expediency.
