Albo’s one word for Grace Tame was a shocker and his apology was half-arsed but her objection would have been more powerful if (at least publicly) she gave him the benefit of the doubt rather than tarring him with the ScoMo brush. #auspol #polarisation

Holiday relaxation mode engaged.
I realise all over again reading this book just how privileged I am, but also, just how essential holidays are to reset and to get inspired for post-holiday activism.

I was a bit wary of the writer Helen Lewis as I'd heard she had extreme views I do not agree with on transgender rights. It turns out that reading her own words is a safer way to judge than going on the basis of other people's judgements. I was unexpectedly relieved, it's an excellent and illuminating book.
