Finally got the dice sanded tonight and threw on some ink for testing. Black and orange on contrasting faces + ombre blend on transitional faces seems like it will work, but the colorshifting bright green really pops on the dark faces and still looks pretty readable on the light ones. The dark brown and colorshifting purple I'm not crazy about here. We'll see what the client likes. #handmade #resin #resinart #dice #dicemaking #dicemakers #ttrpg

Doing my first dice commission for a friend and just pulled these from the pressure pot. They should be ready to sand and ink in a few more days. The client wanted orange glowing Halloween dice, with a little black mixed in for contrast, but my first attempt had most of the black float to the top. The orange glow is bright, but having black only be visible on the low faces is not ideal. The second set doesn't glow as much but is much more interesting to look at, so that one's a success. #resin #resinart #dice #dicemaking #dicemaker #dicemakers #ttrpg #handmade

New year, new #dice....

This attempt at a gelatinous cube set worked out pretty much exactly as intended, except for the inserts sinking to the bottom of the mould. This despite leaving the resin for an hour to thicken before inserting them!

This will probably have to be a two-pour set, but we're excited to see how they turn out!
