@Arne_Brand ist ein Retro-Klon, also eine redigierte Fassung des ursprünglichen #dnd Spiels von 1974 (#odnd) Es gibt viele andere aufgearbeitete Fassungen des Urspiels, z.B. #SwordsAndWizardry oder #DelvingDeeper. Die ursprünglichen #odnd Regeln sind ja „etwas“ unzugänglich. Diese Klone setzen dann oft Schwerpunkte, beziehen einige Hausregeln oder versch. supplements aus der Frühphase des Spiels mit ein.

Don't faint! An actual blog post about my time at Gary Con XVII. I also mention my card game.
Last minute preparations to head out to Gary Con. I had to cancel last year, and for a while, it looked like I might have to cancel this year.
I'm running 4 games, one each day all are at 9 am, but a different room each day. So far, there are spots in all of them. The Sunday one shows it may be sold out, so time will tell.

Dave Heinemann 🇦🇺I spent this afternoon reading through Delving Deeper, an OD&D clone. I really like it!
It seems really faithful to the original LBBs, with maybe a few bits and pieces from Chainmail and Greyskull to fill in gaps and clarify rules.
Gygax's prose is inimitable (for better and worse), but DD achieves a similar tone and presentation while being far clearer on the rules.
I'd love to run this some time.
I used the TTRPG Statblocks plugin for Obsidian.md to create the statblock used by Delving Deeper, a clone of Original D&D.
I was guided by the excellent video by Josh Plunkett on how to do this. He just released it today.
