In my YouTube channel, I only review or mention products or game rules that I've played or at least own and read cover to cover. I've been a big fan of Old-Schoo Essentials for 2+ years, and recently got Shadowdark (and love it). I'm also a BECMI grognard who cut his teeth on the purple box Basic Set (Moldvay) and AD&D.

Should I get Dolmenwood and add that to the mix? Is it different enough to be worth the time/expense?

I was mildly tempted to pick up a hard copy of OSRIC 3, but the PoD tome is $90. The pdf is free. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I mean, I can get hardcover reprints of all three AD&D core books for $69 from wizards.

Thanks to the AD&D DM’s Guide, I know that 16 gnomes can work at once on a ten foot wide tunnel through hard rock and can excavate 480 cubic feet in an 8 hour shift.

I won’t count how many times this has come up in my games.

Poking around the AD&D GM’s Guide definitely has advice I feel is very counter to a lot of neo-old school thinking.
