Ah finally a use for my many colored d20s. The skill/SP (dice fudging) mechanic is amusing but excessive. Which makes it so very DSA.

Also the diagram has an obsolete stat name, it's now Courage, Sagacity, Intuition, Charisma,
Dexterity, Agility, Constitution, Strength.

I really liked DSA ("Das Schwarze Auge") when I played the videogame, which has a gigantically crunchy system in it. Then the first US rulebook release, which was not quite complete or edited…

I kept meaning to get the new one, I have the quickstart, but didn't go full in.

Who knows when/if I'd run it, but that's never stopped me from hitting "IT MUST BE MINE!" before, and the full set's cheaper than one hardcover.
