I hate offices...

Seriously, unless one's having to deal with inbound physical deliveries and visitors/customers there's hardly any reason for an office.

• Obviously there are many professions where this is expected and otherwise impractical, and I acknowledge not everyone has FTTB or FTTH and proper broadband and/or has to deal with noise, distractions, small children, ... that make #WorkFromHome impossible for them...

And OFC contractors who have to get someplace to setup stuff can't really do that remotely, and that's fine too.

• But otherwise #Cubicle-Hell and #OpenPlanOffice-Noise is just bad espechally when we account the #Envoirment|al damages and #harm to #MentalHealth that #Commuting inflicts to so many people!

@TheZeldaZone I really hate employers that demand justification for hating the #UnpaidLabour that is #commute and suffering in a noisy, #PostPrivacy #cubicle where people feel entitled to touch, talk to, and generally interrupt one's work in a disruptive manner. (As in every single of these interruptions coul've just been an eMail or ticket)…

• #Neurotypicals really make me want to apply at @awi for a #WinteringCrew on #NeumayerStation even if that would mean I've to convince my GP refer me to the hospital for an appendix removal (or me having to pay for it out-of-pocket)…

Personally I come closer and closer to just shout at #recruiters and #HR folks:

Same with masks... I'm currently rotating between 3 different replies to the stupid question 'Why are you masking? CoViD iS oVeR!':

• "I've got neither the time nor crayons to explain this to you!" (I really need to buy that patch!)
