Now that scoped CSS is supported across modern web browsers I started sprinkling ad-hoc styles into HTML, stuff that is not possible using the HTML style attribute.

Whether it is generally a good idea is tbd. but I am now getting HTML validation errors because apparently not everything can contain a <style> element.

I wonder if this restriction now preventing some perfectly fine use cases for scoped CSS was intentional.
