I see more and more intergovernmental and government institutions using #OpenSource tools like #CryptoPad #LibreOffice or #Linux but none of them talks how to sponsor the development. None of them talk about contracting a developing house to actively contribute to the different #FOSS projects.

If officials do not accept Open-Source software or hardware as an investment, we will see a backlash in a few years! The next step for Open-Source is not acceptance but financial sustainability!

@crossgolf_rebel das interessiert die Leute aber nicht. Die haben mich "massakriert" weil ich #Cryptopad vorgeschlagen habe. Vorher haben die mit Google Docs gearbeitet. Glücklicherweise habe ich ja dann eine Alternative gefunden...

@crossgolf_rebel leider habe wir mit #Cryptopad keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht. Beim öffnen über Handy bleibt es oft hängen. Wir nutzen jetzt eine freie Instanz von #etherpad

Today I came across #cryptopad (https://cryptpad.org) an end-to-end encrypted collaboration software. There are some public cloud hoster of course. One of them is @digitalcourage at https://cryptpad.digitalcourage.de.
Nice here is also the easy to use form tool (foorms.de) to create secure, tracking free and anonymous surveys. If this is too much overhead for you just use #nuudels (https://nuudel.digitalcourage.de/create_poll.php?type=date) a lightweight tool for planning events.
