I don't use Thunderbird, but #KMail (part of #KDE) and #K9Mail (on Android).

Will / do either of these implement draft-ietf-mailmaint-unobtrusive-signatures ?

If so, let me know how to opt-in.

If not, let me know how to fund an effort.

Hat GMX irgendwelche Einstellungen geändert? Seit gestern (oder vielleicht vorgestern) kann ich keine Mails mehr mit K9-Mail über IMAP abrufen. Die Konfiguration der App stimmt aber mit den Empfehlungen von GMX überein.

Digitaler Aufräumtag. Endlich mal #loggifly #watchtower und #ntfy überarbeitet, jetzt sehen die Nachrichten schöner aus.
#freshrss ausgemistet.
Und statt #k9mail probiere ich #FairEmail auf dem Handy. Eigentlich nur, weil die Textgröße in k9 nicht anzupassen geht. Aber FairEmail macht einen guten Eindruck!

I just updated k9-mail to 17.0 on android.
As soon as I select one mail to display ir crashes.
I'll go back to the previous version.
Fortunately I know how to do it

howto make #e_OS usable:
replace follofing apps:
default Mail App -> #Thunderbird or #K9Mail
AOSP Keyboard -> #FUTOKeyboard or #Heliboard
default unusable launcher -> #Lawnchair
default Calendar App -> #fossifyCalendar
default Tasks App -> #jtxBoard
default weather app -> #breezyweather
Maps -> #CoMaps

and its still not as good as #calyxos, I miss you :(

Hi,
ich habe einfach die Browser Appsuite auf dem Homebildschirm installiert. Mail mache ich dann mit #k9mail und Dateien Integration jetzt auf meinem #shiftphone8 mit #eos mit #oxdrive . Ich nutze die offizielle von #mailbox_org empfohlenen Apps und Anleitungen unter Android. Ist auch alles recht gut beschrieben.

ELI5: #K9Mail und #Thunderbird transition?

Can someone briefly explain when the transition between #k9mail and #Thunderbird is supposed to happen?

I find it confusing they exist in parallel for so long and the info I find just claim there is a transition, but when and how?

For how long can I just stick to K9 if I am not really keen on new features or seeing the cutting edge progress in TB?
