It would be a half truth to leave it at that.

Just as #DickCheney and #CondoleezzaRice put in the legwork to lead their conspiracy to drag the US into two decades of senseless violence, Putin and his cronies are the ones putting in the legwork for #Ukraine now. I think, if Putin died today, the resulting power struggle would end with the new leadership deciding to declare they had "finished the job" in Ukraine and leave, as #JoeBiden did.
