President Donald Trump says questions about the war in Iran are “easy” compared to efforts to better regulate college sports. It was an extraordinary suggestion that even he himself seemed to think better of a short time later. It came Friday after he spent more than an hour discussing compensation for college athletes. Afterward, he said he knows college sports may sound less important than the war in Iran — but he said it was a very important issue to him. Trump urged Congress to pass the SCORE Act, which seeks to regulate college sports but which critics call a giveaway to the NCAA. He also said he'd write an executive order on the issue.
