Yes, that was a real concern and the reason our authorities said we had to implement varying levels of #CommunityQuarantine months ago -- because the hospitals would not be able to handle it.

Stories of people not being able to get treatment in hospitals. My friend's elderly dad-in-law stayed at a hospital >80kms from home because there was no room at their city hospitals.

Don't let that happen. 🙏

During #CommunityQuarantine no dine-in was allowed.

Now it's #GranularLockdown of only small areas with #covid19-positive people.

To help the #economy, they're allowing #restaurants to accommodate dine-in customers but ONLY if they have a #vaccine card to prove they've been vaccinated.

I appreciate how our gov't has handled pandemic, but this time they forgot something. Some people CAN'T get vaxxed YET -- they're not frontliners, not elderly, have no comorbidities. ButTheyGotMoneyToSpend. 🙄

Something big is coming.
Soon.
I hope.

If all goes well, I'll be getting my 1st #bike the 1st week of September. (The vendor better be nice to this clueless #newbie.)

I hope I'll be consistent riding it.

Somebody nag me to ride weekly, please.

It'll be my fun, easy-on-the-joints, breezy, very outdoorsy workout that is #CommunityQuarantine-friendly.

Well, I do intend to use the #bicycle for outdoor leisure rides. The home setup will be for days that I can't or won't get out of the house, which sometimes can't be helped. 🤪

@JonYoder
At first I was thinking I'll get a #bike for Christmas. But after this past weekend's checkup, perhaps I shouldn't wait. I really need to get some exercise. #Cycling is the easiest/safest I can think of for my stress fracture. 🦵 And if i can't get out, then the home setup will be good.

We're going back to stricter #CommunityQuarantine days. Again. 🤷‍♀️

@thedonnerd I prefer and try to buy from brick-&-mortar stores. But online shopping is a huge blessing and convenience, especially for hard-to-find items and in times of #CommunityQuarantine. 😉

The mall I went to had 11 #cinemas and 1 IMAX theater. All have been closed since our #CommunityQuarantine started in March 2020.

Depending on the #CommunityQuarantine level, sometimes entertainment venues are allowed to operate. With restrictions, of course.

But apparently this mall has other plans. Too cautious? Perhaps they're being smart and pivoting instead of waiting for things to go back to the #OldNormal. 👍

To survive and serve the needs of patrons, businesses gotta keep adapting. Last time I was at this #mall, this area here was still a carpark. Notice the yellow wheel stops and the faded white stripes painted on the ground.

Now it's an outdoor dining/seating area. 👍 This way people can do takeout* and have a place to sit and eat, even if it's not inside the restaurants (due to #covid19 #CommunityQuarantine restrictions).

Haven't been out 3 weeks now.
Looking forward to Monday #errands.
Gonna get some sun ☀️, groceries 🛒, meds 💊 and do some walking 🚶🏻‍♀️.

We are currently on #MECQ #CommunityQuarantine. Under the updated rules, restaurants can have dine-in customers up to 10% capacity.

It is what it is. 😐 Though some businesses will surely not survive, I hope the people all do, somehow. 🙏

Since I'm going out today, I think I'll visit the #plant sellers at the #park -- rather than get my plant #online. (Yeah, I still don't have my #indoorplant.) Less strict #CommunityQuarantine means most #businesses can operate now. I just realized: If I can buy stuff from a brick-and-mortar store, I should support nearby/local sellers who have #rent and #employees to pay. Many of those online sellers don't even pay taxes. That's why the can sell real cheap. ☝️ #shopping #economy #business
