Just finished a training session with teens on dealing with cops.
It's really interesting hearing their questions especially in light of Bill 33 passing this week. The next step is training trainers so that the message can spread more effectively.
On another note, I think we've settled on 5 things EVERYBODY should know about cops in Canada.
1. Canadian cops can and will lie to you.
2. Police do not care about your rights.
3. Police will use the people around you to do an end run around your rights.
4. The process is the punishment.
5. There is no effective mechanism for holding police accountable.

ISTG some days it feels like the play is keeping me so busy DOING the work, that I can't WRITE the work up.
I spent yesterday operating on 1 hour sleep, and while I have had 8 hours now, I ain't going to get to touch that paperwork or writing again today.
I guess the perk(?) was that yesterday was a beautiful day for the City to be fucking with unhoused people, or something.
Man, the park neighbourhood got decked out today in prep for tomorrow's fascist bullshit.

I made a link a while ago to enable people to kick in a couple of bucks to help defray some of the costs of community defence.
I've been sitting on it because I really don't want people to spend money that they genuinely need personally, and I know how guilty I feel when I can't contribute to an ask, so I didn't want to engender that feeling in someone else.
That said, it's been a long day, week, and summer.
There've been protests, encampment defence, trainings, jail support, court support, and more.
And I'm getting to the senior end of middle age, with the aches that go aling with that.
And then, of course, through it all, there's the stalking. We've past the four year mark of the obsessive, malicious, relentless abuse, physical attacks, stochastic terrorism, and attempts to criminalize me.
In fact, the delusional, fixated cacodemon just TODAY posted that she had unsuccessfully attempted to buddyhustle "upper brass" into doing her bidding, and was angry that they declined her DARVO. Caryma Sa'd and her spouse Adam Lee Wasserman have been trying to run that hustle for years.
Pretty sure their end goal is to have me end up like Breonna Taylor.
Anyway, I keep going, and if you have a couple of bucks to spare towards travel and food expenses (and I do mean ONLY if you can spare it), you could be my first coffee donor!
