The British were neutral in #Turkey, which actually had a #TurkishYoke on #Palestine before #LeagueOfNations granted #Britain #mandate of Palestine
Both #US (#MorgenthauMission) & Britain opposed #Zionism but #Ottomans were not prepared to accept peace on any terms
I gotta say I find it funny how, John Dee, alongside fellow Edward Kelley, both Englishmen, purported to have obtained an "angelic language" called Enochian and then... proceeded to present the word for empire as being "londo" and the one for iniquity being "madrid". đ
Absolutely no subtlety.
