Tonight's task was making my month's supply of homemade #glutenfree granola. We don't eat a huge amount of meat any more, so I do like my breakfast to include a good pile of seeds and nuts in amongst oat, buckwheat, millet, and quinoa flakes.
This granola will also be coming to Glasgow with me next week as it will be one of the few meals I will have that I know I'll be eating safely while away from home.

This morning's breakfast... Mincemeat Omelette, à la Fanny Cradock!
I like omelettes. I like mincemeat. I like sweet omelettes occasionally. I like trying out weird food combinations. And I enjoyed this, but - a match made in heaven, it is not.

Fanny's legend will live on forever with footage like this, though. 😅

New record set - my mother has glutened me within half an hour of turning up to my house for Xmas. It’s almost inevitable when I stay with them, but I thought I might escape it in my own meticulously managed kitchen! “I made you these special gluten free biscuits but oops now you’ve eaten one I’ll mention they’re full of oats”.
