Macarons are a very frustrating cookie. This pack of 36 from Costco was like $15 (probably the same as 5 packs of Oeos, each with twice the number of cookies).

But they're perfect. They're delicious, gluten free (#CeliacLife), have a very unique flavor, are way too impossible for make for me to want to try it.
