Finally project vacuum table for the #cnc reached a state where it could be used to hold something.

I had to plane the spoilboard, create new 3D printed adaptors in #FreeCAD , with used bicycle hose for gaskets, route better air inlets, adjust this and that, make mistakes, fix mistakes, etc

But finally it's looking like it may actually be useful.

We have recently installed two FlexiCAM Orca 3-Axis CNC machines, at a leading power-equipment manufacturer whose portfolio spans thermal power generation, oil & gas, transmission systems and large-scale transformers.

At this customer’s facility, the Orca is primarily deployed for machining transformer-related components, including insulation parts such as transformer rings.

As expected, the CNC Minlathe projects starts with attempts to salvage the scrap I’ve got from the factory.

Have to replace the pair of 30209 tapered roller bearings that were packed full of paint and grinding dust. Not wanting to purchase bearing extractor, #freecad and #3dprinting for the rescue.
