I moved to a new instance, here's my re- #introduction

Hello people. I'm Ari, although I'm better known by my nick APz or apzpins in the social media. This is my pinball and retrogaming account.

I'm an IT guy by day, dedicating my free time to keep #pinball alive. My hobby has turned from owning a single game at home to an #arcade full of them over the years. Originally a very active tournament player, but in the past years I've been leaning more and more to the restoration and maintenance of the games. I especially love early solid state pins.

I'm a very #DIY -spirited person, often having to come up with creative ways to fix something that's been long obsolete. I do a lot of #3dprinting, tabletop #cnc and #laser'ing, among other things.

In addition to pinball machines, I'm into mechanical and video arcade games, #retrocomputing, owning plenty of machines like Commodores, Ataris, PCs and old servers.

I mostly post in English, but I'll reply in other languages where I can, I can do #Finnish and conversational #Spanish.

Когда я собирал свой первый ЧПУ-лазер, все гайды по электрике самодельных станков жили на YouTube. Только видео. В реальной сборке это мучение. Найди нужный момент. Запомни. Поставь на паузу. Промотай назад. Снова пауза. И так по кругу. Прошли годы — почти ничего не изменилось. Поэтому я сделал иначе. Ни видео, ни перемоток. Текст и подробные схемы. Предельно понятно. Не универсальный «единственно правильный» вариант. Рабочий пример, который можно повторить или адаптировать под свою механику и комплектующие.

Die Lüftungsanlage für unsere CNC ist endlich fertiggestellt. Ab sofort müssen wir nicht mehr mit dem Staubsauger daneben stehen, während gefräst wird.

Bisher ging es nur um Fräsungen für den Frästisch selbst und um erste Probefräsungen. Trotzdem merkt man sofort, wie viel angenehmer und sauberer das Arbeiten jetzt ist.

Für die Spindel haben wir einen Absaugschuh konstruiert und mit dem 3D Drucker gefertigt. Zusätzlich entstand ein Adapter von DN110 auf 100 mm Durchmesser, damit der Absaugschlauch sauber angeschlossen werden kann. Auch dieser stammt aus dem 3D Drucker.

Noch sind es Testläufe.
Aber die Werkstatt fühlt sich jetzt schon deutlich professioneller an.
