In Istanbul, I met with Turkish Environment Minister and future #COP31 President Murat Kurum & his team. Turkey will host the next #ClimateConference in Antalya together with Australia as presidency of the negotiations. Germany will support both countries to make COP31 a success for #climateaction!

Durchbruch in #Belem bei der #COP30 !
Merz schlägt internationale #Pendlerpauschale und #Dienstflugzeugprivileg vor, damit es "alle wie #Deutschland machen können".
Die Länge von Arbeitswegen (etwa Mallorca ✈️ Frankfurt) wird so weniger störend. Die Kommunen wollen dafür einen finanziellen Ausgleich, finden es dann aber gut.
