Projekti vaikutti lähes mahdottomalta, sillä ainoa tapa löytää clickwheel iPodeille julkaistut pelit, oli löytää ihmisiä, joilla lojuu edelleen iPod pöytälaatikossa *ja* siinä on edelleen joku kadonneista peleistä.

Tuon jälkeenkin pelien pelastaminen jälkipolville vaati aika paljon purkkaa ja virittelyä. Mutta lopulta kaikki koskaan julkaistut 54 peliä saatiin pelastettua.

Oh don't mind me, I'm just over here having some nostalgia playing with my resurrected fifth-generation iPod. Playing Mahjong on a click wheel is frustratingly tedious, but the music and sound effects are beautiful.

A very interesting effort to preserve the iPod click-wheel games: using a virtual machine that can sync them to an iPod! 47 out of the 54 total released games are available.

I only had Spore Origins myself, but I lost the installation file. Can’t wait to install and play it again on my iPod nano 3rd gen 😌

it'd be kinda cool, if there was a hybrid earpod+airpod.

The volume and track control buttons are much better on the wired earpods. This goes back to essentially transitioning from the iPod classic click wheel to the earpods remote. The earpods remote is essentially the spiritually successor to the click wheel. Makes it effortless to do volume and track control without looking at the screen. That's all missing with the airpods, unfortunately. So, having a hybrid USBC+bluetooth set of airpods with remote would be nice.

Microphone is better too.

If the battery is low, the ability to just plug directly into the iphone USBC port so it could be charged, while on the go and being used at the same time, until it reaches a level of charge where it could again be disconnected from the USBC port of the iPhone, and the phone could be pocketed more easily once again.
