#godot or really any 3D engine HELP: Trying to figure out whether the area drawing effect shown below is best done with shaders, geometry or a combination of both, assuming that the terrain is actually a 3D mesh, not flat as in the #citybound example #edcgame

Speaking of Citybound. I keep getting hung up on how to project roads and plot polygons onto the terrain mesh. Maybe I should just do flat terrain for the initial prototype. Citybound aesthetic is already pretty close to where i want to end up, so clearly, lack of terrain is not a deal breaker.
