Anyway, yeah, the game is extremely detailed. Unfortunately that can look like visual density overload in screenshots, it’s not nearly this bad in motion.

I’ve been playing a bunch of Farthest Frontier this week, it’s your basic Banished-like city sim game, but the visuals are INTENSELY pretty. The art style reminds me a lot of New World, but at a micro scale.

Anyway, funny thing I noticed: Everyone in town works for communal goals, you build a shop for them and they work in that shop for the betterment of the village.

Except the guy who hauls the shit. He gets paid in gold.
