I recently posted a photo of an early Chapron-bodied ‘Le Dandy’ Citroën DS coupé (green car). I’ve now found a few photos of a later facelifted Le Dandy (white car, Techno Classica Essen, 2019), which give a clearer idea of the car’s shape.

I think this is another one I may have posted before but it provides a nice comparison with yesterday’s two-door ‘Le Dandy’ Citroën DS from Chapron. I snapped this alternative DS coupé by Bossaert at the Rétromobile Classic car show in Paris in 2016.

Today, one more Citroën DS from the hand of Henri Chapron. This is the two-door coupé ‘Le Dandy’, seen at Techno Classica Essen in 2014. This car dates back to 1965.
Someone mentioned this yesterday, so here’s the convertible ‘Décapotable’ version of the Citroën DS. This one was impressing the crowds at Techno Classica Essen in 2014. I believe the coach builder Chapron produced an official ‘factory’ version of the convertible for sale by Citroën, as well as some which it made/sold outside this channel - not sure which this is.
Yesterday, after I posted the 1968 French presidential Citroën DS by Chapron, @craigmorgan mentioned another DS limousine from the same coach builder, the Majesty. The Majesty retained more of the frontal bodywork of the standard DS than the presidential car but was still pretty, well majestic. Snapped at Techno Classica Essen in 2023.
I think I’ve posted this one before but I’m hoping most people won’t mind seeing it again…
