Strangely not very cold at all on the east coast of Anglesey today. Ideal for doing a bit of hunting for tombstone graffiti. In a very overgrown old chapel cemetery, this was quite a task!

The Allerheiligenberg Chapel on a 170-metre-high hilltop above Niederlahnstein (Rhein-Lahn district, Rhineland-Palatinate). The chapel was built between 1895 and 1901 in neo-Gothic style as a memorial to those who fell in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71.

Loughwood Meeting House, Devon

One of the earliest surviving Baptist meeting houses in Britain, founded in secret c.1653, remaining illegal until Toleration Act 1688.

Given to National Trust 1969 and really well restored. Absolutely adorable!

Käppele is the popular name of the pilgrimage church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary on the Nikolausberg in Würzburg (Lower Franconia, Bavaria). It was built from 1748 to 1750 according to plans by Balthasar Neumann.
