Boris Efimov was sent to attend the trials by the Soviet Union to sketch the Nazis on trial and and then produced cartoons from said sketches, which you see here.

On the 20th of November 1945, the Nuremberg Trials began. It was on this day several Nazi leaders were tried and prosecuted for their war crimes during the second World War. A man who attended these trials was the soviet cartoonist Boris Efimov.

I've been a huge Looney Tunes freak most of my life, ever since I started watching the shorts early in the mornings (and on VHS tapes we had) as a really young kid (maybe starting around when I was 8-10 years old?)

Bugs, Daffy and Porky have always been my favorites, but I can't forget Sylvester J. Pussycat Sr., who made his debut 78 years ago today (March 24, 1945!) in 'Life with Feathers'.

Don't know who will see this (hope the right people do), but the fellow who is running a bunch of classic animation social profiles as well as the Mutt & Jeff restoration Kickstarter, Mauricio Alvarado, has started trying to issue takedowns of public domain cartoons on YouTube, claiming ownership. The dude has also exhibited other sorts of toxic behavior, and it would be best avoid his doings.
