I saw this coin advertised by a dealer today. Inspired by the French silent film "A Trip to the Moon" from 1902. The film is a pioneering 15-minute silent science fiction film directed by Georges Méliès. The film is online, here is a copy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNAHcMMOHE8
