When Rivers Meet - 'Breaker Of Chains Tour - Live'. 🔗🎸⚡💿 (19 April 2024)
The second live album by the husband-and-wife blues rock band, When Rivers Meet — this time chronicling their 2023 Breaker Of Chains Tour. Judging from this already sold-out release, which features songs from all of their studio albums at that point, it sounds like it was mostly recorded during their Glasgow concert. Nevertheless, their live performance is outstanding and tight, as one would anticipate (though experiencing it in person would be even better than listening on vinyl). Frankly, there is not much more to add beyond my satisfaction in adding this excellent record to my cherished collection; the music truly speaks for itself (give it a listen!). Oh, and I probably should acquire their first live album at some point in the future, but for now, this one suffices. Lastly, it is worth noting that the first 500 copies of this release were numbered and autographed (fortunate to have snagged #100, even though I prefer getting my albums autographed in person after a gig if I can), hence the album cover of my copy. Overall, a splendid way to kick off and rocking out into the weekend! Thanks Grace and Aaron!
