One more make-of-the-year post: a #book #wreath for my friend Carly. I'd wanted to make one for like a decade and I finally had the chance.
Materials:
- wreath ring from Hobby Craft
- book pages from a fallen apart paperback (a Swedish Agatha Christie my MIL was throwing away)
- some thin copper wire
It's not super robust but I liked the result and more importantly, Carly loved it! A nice reuse of #bookpages that were otherwise destined for recycling.

Received this wonderful picture showing the complete alphabet pages out of my Hebrew 1&2 workbooks. 🤗
This is showing what I had hoped for, the pages being used as a quick reference to help the student learn the entire alphabet as a study guide.
It makes my day to see this. It’s one of many ways I had hoped my books would be used to help others Learn and Love Hebrew. Great work and keep the pics coming 💙🤍
These compositions are a mixture of #photos and #scans of #BookPages, together with digitally created #textures. I take several images and then combine them – creating new images by blending a new composition with original images. A pattern of echoing elements then reoccur to produce a sequence that appears to go through #transformation. Note: Originally posted on my blog on March 17, 2016, it includes a #Mastodon related#Illustration in one of the compositions. I must have been having a premonition. 😂
