Effortless gets you nowhere.
I wish it did. I’ve tried that way before. Waiting for things to feel easier, clearer, more natural before I move.
But language doesn’t work like that.
You don’t wake up one day suddenly fluent because you thought about it enough. You get there because you showed up. Even on the days it felt slow. Even on the days it felt uncomfortable.
Movement is the only way forward.

I know this firsthand.

Pronunciation tip:
Say it like Khag Sa-me-akh
Put the emphasis on “me” in Sameach, pronounce the A like in father, and the E like in met.

A plan falls through.
What worked last month suddenly doesn’t work anymore. And just like that, you feel a little off again.
That isn’t failure. That’s simply life.
The beauty isn’t in staying perfectly aligned forever.
The beauty is in knowing you can realign. Again.
And again.
And again.
In language learning, as in life, this rhythm is part of the journey.
Some days the words flow and everything makes sense. Other days you forget the simplest phrase or stumble over something you knew yesterday. But progress doesn’t come from perfect days. It comes from returning.
