"C0-14"

"C0-14", also known as Contagia, is a bio-weapon developed and experimented with by EvoWorks in one of their "Bio Sectors" Laboratories in Goiânia in brasil.
They experimented with an artificially made fungal virus, tested its abilities, how it could be used in warfare. While at first, the results didn't seem to be overwhelming, it is what happened after what made the scientists interested in its possibilities.
EvoWorks began giving random people from the streets a job offer for actually quite good conditions. So good, that you would question its legitness.
EvoWorks never planned on paying them anyway. These people were nothing but test subjects for their newly developed fungal virus.
Each of the subjects were exposed to a different variant, the scientists wanted to see which reactions the human body showed.
The results were more or less lethal for the most part...however there was one subject which had some relatively unique reactions to the fungal virus. While it was subtle, the subject's body showed visual changes to their skin and eyes. The scientists didn't expected that kind of reaction to happen, but it was something they could build upon.
Multiple tests were needed to eventually turn the subject to the creature it is today. Its meanhile pale white skin was covered in pinkish/black veins, probably an aftermath from the fungal virus. its body had high resistance to cold and warm weather and interestingly...ballistic damage.
Suddenly, a warning sirent alerted the entire laboratory. The formerly deceased subjects, which were kept in safe storage for future purposes, were alive again! however they acted weird. you ould expect them to go feral, but they were the complete opposite. undead, but...as if they were mind controlled. Mind controlled by "C0-14". It breached security and on its way out, freed one, maybe even more deadlier bio-weapon from captivity...
