anyone have a recommendation for an ebike under 2K USD that isn't garbage... or a decent conversion kit? I have a used spare bike that I'm willing to do the conversion on (and will probably have to beef up the wheels, etc, to handle the additional torque, blah blah blah)

Either way it's a rather big purchase for me, but in looking around a lot of e-bikes still run 4K to 5K and that's just wildly out of what I'm willing/able to spend. But biking is going back to my primary mode of transit and as much as I love arriving everywhere sweaty...

Hello out there #bikeFedi! I am looking to get a bike and am open to recommendations.

I will mostly be doing street biking but want the ability to do some trails, nothing like mountain or off-road just some gravel and rock trails with slight elevation changes. #bike #bikes #bikeMastodon
