@forteller no complaints about the lack of a flag for visibility? How will drivers possibly not hit that person? They should get on the sidewalk... (Healthy dose of sarcasm but not far off the mark for drivers in my community).
@forteller There are also disabled people who have narcolepsy, epilepsy, etc and need to bike for their safety and others' safety. They need bike lanes that won't let them spill into traffic wherever possible as well
@forteller I have seen something like this before in my neighborhood. Not that it lacks sidewalk but sometimes there is some obstruction mostly trash can or sofa
I support the spirit of this post as long as we also listen to those that tell us they do rely on cars for essential mobility! (And either way, let's get non-disabled people's cars out of their way.)
@forteller we should make cities less pedestrian unfriendly so people using assistive devices don't have to walk/drive in the road...says the woman with the cane.
