Bicycled Root River Trail on a warm day for here. 3 bicyclists, 3 dog walkers, 1 walker, and a person in camouflage clothing with a rifle (hunting season for what now? Isn"t deer hunting by rifles over?).

Yesterday a track team was running. One of them in short sleeves and shorts. Brr. Too cold for me. I'm still wearing 3 layers on the warmer day today.

Bicycled 24 K on the Root River trail to the picnic area and back. Mainly to convince myself I could do it. Because the snow is still there in very bumpy icy patches that were difficult to get through. Difficult enough that I am not doing that again. In the future, first tricky snow patch I'm turning around.

#Bicycled the ‘couve. In the central #Vancouver #Washington (uptown/downtown/waterfront/ #FtVancouver / #ClarkCollege ) area it was very very nice. Getting there not so much. Even the dedicated bikeways were mostly just sandwiched next to freeways or busy highways and were smelly, noisy and dirty. Other key connectors were poorly maintained #BikeLanes on busy streets. Sometimes I could find a quiet neighborhood street - but #ClarkCountyWA & #VancouverWA has a long way to go to be “#BikeFriendly”
