I loved the old #Barathrum . When I was a young musician I even went on tour with them. Back in the 90s it was a very special band: Sova started using 3 distorted basses, the first drums were played with bones. Totally crazy. Unfortunately the sound became "clean" and the magic was gone. If you want to check out for yourself, get the free downloads here. "Warmetal" contains demo songs from the first three albums. "Fanatiko" is the most recent album.

#Barathrum 1/x

This is one of the classic #finnish #blackmetal bands along with the likes of #Beherit & #ImpaledNazarene, as they've been active since at least 1990.

Their discography includes a lot of ranges from #thrashmetal like fast paced, to #doommetal and #symphonic offerings in their otherwise straightforward style of black metal.

Starting the series off with one of my favorite songs by them from their 2003 album
