Wow! Ik weet niet welke framing-artiest dit nu weer heeft geschreven, maar het slingert op en neer. Het gaat natuurlijk om deze zin; "Het besluit om het optreden van Impaled Nazarene te annuleren is niet impulsief genomen, maar is het resultaat van een zorgvuldig proces van afweging en reflectie." Goed! Mooi zo!

Maar dat komt pas na een standaardtekstje over hoe goed die Effenaar wel is en het sterk bagatelliseren van de nazi-band; "De band schopt tegen alle denkbare conventies en thema’s aan. […] Met nummers over stalen vagina’s, motorpenissen en geiten-sodomie, zetten zij zichzelf hiermee in een traditie van nihilistische provocatie." 😵‍💫

Het is allemaal de schuld van framing op social media en polarisaaaatie! 🤦🏻 "De situatie is verder verergerd door de destructieve dynamiek van sociale media. […] Dit heeft niet alleen de discussie vertroebeld, maar ook bijgedragen aan een gepolariseerd klimaat waarin nuance ontbreekt." Neen, het is een extreemrechtse band! Dus eerst prijzen ze #ImpaledNazarene de nihilistische hemel in, om daarna een emmer met #pinkwashing over ons uit te gooien. Wat een ellende! 😭

Kennt ihr die #BlackMetalRainbows #Compilation? Ein #toller, #queerer #Gegenschlag gegen #queerfeindliche #BlackMetalBands wie z.B. #ImpaledNazarene. Mir wurde die #Compilation gerade von einem #Metal1 #Journalisten empfohlen und ich #liebe es einfach #BM ohne #toxische #Männlichkeit präsentiert zu bekommen. Und dann gibt es noch ein #Buch! This is one of the classic #finnish #blackmetal bands along with the likes of #Beherit & #ImpaledNazarene, as they've been active since at least 1990.

Their discography includes a lot of ranges from #thrashmetal like fast paced, to #doommetal and #symphonic offerings in their otherwise straightforward style of black metal.
