It's a good start even if it's not very piratical. (My first thought was to make the yarn tail into the 'teeth' of the skull, but it looked so cheesy.)

ETA: This is going to be printed in a very small size on a merchandise tag, so I can't put too much detail. I haven't done a print test yet.
