If you can afford to buy banned books to stock up local Little Libraries, please do so. I suspect some banned books are on the Project Gutenberg website.

Pulled this from #Instagram but I think it is worth sharing. Tax breaks and deregulation of gun silencers, but removal of funding for healthcare and food. It’s pretty easy to see who the #GOP cares about and it isn’t 99% of the population.

I love libraries, but had not been to ours in many yrs. Today I took 2 grandkids, 10 & 7. As I was looking for werewolf books, a lady came up to show me a photo on her phone. “Did you know that they had this rainbow themed poster on the wall?” I looked at the photo, then at her and said “I love it!” I then said loudly that I believed all books should be available to everyone! In retrospect, I wish I had asked her why she wasn’t protesting gun violence rather than reading! #BanGunsNotBooks

I am working on setting up a #littlefreelibrary on my property, to mostly house banned books.

Whatever the hell we have going on... or not, as the case may be-- we need to get it sorted out.

Hopefully I can be part of the change. If I can help educate even one child... it will have been worth it.
