How dystopian is this image? Young kids going to school, but before they can get into their classes they need to pass through metal detectors and bag searches.

This is the reality of the right wing obsession with guns in the US. Rather than address the root cause, they force schools & businesses to layer in technology and train kids to accept invasive searches on a daily basis. They all know guns are the cause.

Pulled this from #Instagram but I think it is worth sharing. Tax breaks and deregulation of gun silencers, but removal of funding for healthcare and food. It’s pretty easy to see who the #GOP cares about and it isn’t 99% of the population.

The scale of the devastation and loss of life caused by Tick Tock clearly means that thoughts and prayers are just not sufficient.

Banning this scourge is essential.

Had to stop by our local Target on the way home. Feels like walking into a war zone with the two paramilitary goons at the door. What exactly they think they're going to encounter in a Target store I just don't know.s

Also wonder whether the Target employees know how much more dangerous their jobs are, especially those at the Starbucks and cash registers, when those goons are present. Hopefully, they asked for danger money...
