Lot of people talking a lot of shit about #BurningMan right now, and rightfully so. But want to establish the real actual #history of the event for y’all.
Burning Man began in ‘86 and for the first 5 years was held at #BakerBeach in #SanFrancisco. In 1990, the event was interrupted by the Park Police with concerns about the fire spreading to the adjacent parkland.
The 1990 event was advertised by the #CacophonySociety, an organization of which my aunt, #EthylKeytone, was a founding member.
