Jan Jona Javoršek is head of the Network Infrastructure Centre at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, where he is involved in infrastructure development and advanced computing for research and academia. The Institute is connected to the Slovenian NREN, Arnes, since 1993. Jona was involved in the creation of a national supercomputing network consortium SLING
