Move over StarLink and Amazon Leo - here comes LOGOS!

The U.S. FCC has approved venture capital based LOGOS Space Services to move forward with plans to deploy a constellation of 3,960 broadband satellites.

Phase 1 will deploy 1,092 satellites beginning in 2027, with subsequent phases to scale the constellation to its full capacity, operating at altitudes between 860 km and 925 km.

Contrary to SpaceLink and Amazon, LOGOS is planning a solution “purpose-built” with “fiber-like performance” without the security vulnerabilities of today's Internet for enterprise and government users "who require high-performance connectivity that can withstand the rigors of modern electronic warfare (EW)."
