Rep. Jamie Raskin recently wrote an Op-Ed in The Guardian asking for RCV to be used for the 2028 Democratic primaries. I think it would be great if he helped push RCV and Approval right here in the state of Maryland, because for about a decade now, Palakovich-Carr and Kaufman's wonderful bill has been dying in committee.
I contacted the congressman about this and I hope it gets his attention.

I have strong feelings on this... #ApprovalVoting would get you all the benefits of positive campaigning, but you would have to spend much, much less on voter education because it's impossible to spoil a ballot by filling in too many bubbles.
#StLouis implemented AV partly in response to a mayoral election in which a White candidate won despite Black candidates winning a majority of the vote, and it's working very well there!
